You probably don’t need anything else on your plate this week, so let me take meal planning off of it by giving you one week of meal ideas, sound good?

Life’s busy, and let’s be honest—figuring out what’s for dinner every night can feel like a full-time job. Whether you’re juggling work, kids, or just trying to keep your plants alive, meal planning often takes a backseat. But fear not! I’ve rounded up a week’s worth of simple, delicious, and totally do-able meal ideas that won’t have you reaching for the takeout menu. These recipes are budget-friendly, kid-approved, and perfect for anyone trying to balance a million things while still eating something that feels chef’s kiss. Let’s dive in and make dinner the easiest part of your day!

The Quick List

If you are a jump straight to the point kind of person, here is the list of ideas! These are all go-to meals that my whole family loves! (Including my picky toddler!)

  1. Healthy orange chicken
  2. Beef stroganoff
  3. Pizza
  4. Pork chops
  5. Tacos

Healthy Orange Chicken

The word “healthy” is used lightly here, however, it is definitely healthier than traditional fried orange chicken. I have been making this exact recipe for years and it never gets old. We love it so much! It does require a decent amount of ingredients, but nothing out of the ordinary!

Beef Stroganoff

I am always looking for different ways to use ground beef. Usually the only thing I can think of is tacos or burgers. But once I stumbled across the idea of beef stroganoff, my whole world changed. We love anything with a white, creamy sauce in this household.

Pizza

Who doesn’t love pizza? We probably make homemade pizza in our house at least once per week. We used to buy pizzas, but that was costing about $50 every time for anything of quality so we switched it up and now can throw a pizza together so fast! This dough recipe is my tried and true recipe that always makes the best crust!

Pork Chops

One of those dinners I forgot about as an adult but had fairly often as a kid is pork chops! I was afraid to branch out from chicken and ground beef for so long until I remembered pork chops! They are relatively easy to cook, but can be challenging to keep moist. This recipe however, has produced juicy pork chops every time I make it! And it’s always such a nice change of pace for our family from our usual meat choices. Give it a try!

Tacos

Let’s be honest. When it doubt, tacos are always the answer. Need something quick to make? Tacos. Not feeling like cooking tonight? Tacos. Want something delicious that everyone loves? You guessed it…tacos. If you are wanting to make a taco recipe that goes beyond just taco seasoning, I have a yummy recipe for you to try that produces the most authentic tasting taco meat. But hey, no judgement if you want to just use taco seasoning either!
