Here’s the St. Patricks Day Recap that no one asked for! But seriously, Saint Patricks Day is one of those cheeky holidays where you can go big or keep it simple and it’s still fun! Even if all you do is wear a green shirt, I love the spirit behind it!

We actually chose to celebrate the holiday the day before so Tyler could be a part of the fun! Even though my kids are still young and don’t grasp the concept of leprechauns yet, it was fun to make a little rainbow decoration with a special treat waiting for them!

I considered making Lucky Charm cookies, but got a bit lazy and realized that Lucky Charms cereal is something they never get on a normal day. So that in itself was enough! Simple, easy, fun! The perfect trio!

I shared some snapshots of the kids outfits, their set up, and their breakfast. I will also include links to all the items so you can get inspired for next year! Click on the photos to go to the links, or the buttons below!

Lucky Outfits

Amazon is my go to for holiday outfits! Especially when it is something they are only going to wear one day. Cheap, and cute is the goal! There are so many options it can be hard to choose! I will link the specific ones I went with for my kids, but I will also link a full collection of outfits I found for the whole fam! So you can find whatever suits you best!

Leprechaun Surprises

It was hard to decide what route I wanted to take for decorations. I found some super cute shamrock banners that I almost went with. But then I saw a picture on Pinterest that inspired me to create this little rainbow decoration. I placed Lucky Charms Cereal underneath it and called it a day!

You could also do gold coins, Leprechaun foot prints, or a Leprechaun trap!

Green Eggs And Ham

Is it a Saint Patricks Day breakfast if it’s not green eggs and ham? This would be fun day to read the Dr. Seuss classic to your kids! I also included some lucky charms on their plate too since we have those now! In the past I have also done green pancakes! You could pretty much do anything you want – just add some green food coloring for a fun addition!

Creating Magic

One day my kids will be grown, and these silly little holidays will be a lot more simple. I won’t get to decorate the house, or tell them made up stories. The mornings won’t be full of surprise and wonder. While I don’t believe you have to be an over the top mom to give your kids a good childhood, I love to do things like this. And I hope one day my kids can look back and remember all the magic I tried to create for them! I’m one lucky mama!
